Organising mode05 there is no specific educational model we (Ulrike and Martin) have in mind and think of as being suitable for future dance/choreography education.

games
Games? I often use games and game structures in my classes, and have a list of cooperative games that I've found useful and fun, for getting to know each other, getting energy moving, creating a shift of mood.
group decision making and communication
2 models for group decision making and communication:
Formal Consensus, on the Internet at www.consensus.net, also under 'consensus decision-making' in the Wikipedia;
and Nonviolent Communication at www.cnvc.org.
Instruction: Reducing Intelligence
"Instruction: Reducing intelligence" is written by Jan Ritsema for Sarai reader about Jacques Rancière and his efforts to a less destructive education
A few lines on Dance Education
I think that the more people enter a dialogue about dance/choreography the better.
I also think that there are never too many opportunities for young artists or artists in general to develop their craft and ideas.
A school is one of many other platforms where this can happen.
L'Ecole du MAGASIN
In reference to Pirkko's text about the potential of using weblogs within education I'd like to refer to an educational model I came across during the mode05 preparations and which I think is quite interesting - not just in its structure, but also in how internet technology is used to make a process of research and knowledge production transparent and useful for other people.
LEARNING
Since the beginning of the week, I have been trying out the wikis. It is great fun not only to fill them with content but moreover to find out about connecting the wiki pages among each other, creating a network of text. It seems to me that this network is already meaningful in itself, creating content... although I am not quite able to say yet in what way.
The best way to learn to blog is to blog
No output without input, so here are the basics on blogging:
and the intro of a long text (attached) on blogging and education for all of us who went through a traditional education and therefore try to figure out other concepts of teaching and learning in mode05
