User-created institution is hot and production-centric institution is dead cold. The traditional system for institutions which relies on virtuosity, skill and different methods of preventing imitators are being overrun be more effective user-created modes of production. This also changes the role of the institution, away from a role where we can only have needs, towards a much more active part were we shape and re-shape organisations and institutions. Such institutional frames are experience based on a variety of paradigms that are dynamic, in that the experience of the present is tempered by the past but evolves based on new knowledge. An institution offers itself a pedagogical experience. It is a process that gives access to new knowledge previously denied to conspicuousness, it affords what might be called a lesson in cognition, as well as miscognition. It is an epistemological instruction.
